It is much easier and time efficient to prevent your rabbits from getting sick in the first place than it is to treat illnesses. Here is a list of tips which will hopefully help you keep your rabbits healthy in the first place…

  • Make sure that your rabbit building is well ventilated
  • Clean your rabbit supplies on a frequent basis
  • Don’t let too much manure develop underneath of your rabbit cages
  • Avoid overcrowding your rabbits in your rabbit hutches
  • Quarantine new rabbits for at least thirty days before introducing them to your herd
