We have 3 New Zealands born on June 23rd ready for adoption, or in three and a half months, they will be ready for meat rabbits. We treat our rabbits like family. When the does are ready to kindle, they are brought inside our home and put into special mommy size cages for their kindling, and while the young ones are growing up, until they are eating and drinking on their own, then they are moved back into our rabbitry, and treated with TLC. They are fed a diet of MannaPro, with treats of alfalfa grass, carrots, kale, and romaine lettuce. We also build cages to order. We use rabbit friendly materials, we also build brood boxes, and play houses for the bunnies.

Hello my name is Heather and I breed Mini Rex and Holland Lop bunnies. These are also known as velveteen rabbits because there fur feels like velvet. I raise these babies with lots of love, socialization, and care. They are all $50 each. The deposits are $20 and then the other $30 is due when you pick them up. When you pick yours up to take home you will get his/her pedigree, a sandwhich bag of their feed, and a care sheet. Our rabbits are well taken care of and very spoiled. We always will take back any of our rabbits if there are any problems.

One Ash Rabbitry
On our farm, we raise many heritage breeds, along with breeds that are threatened. I have always wanted to do rabbits, so I started doin some research on breeds that are threatened. I found Lilac rabbits are, along with others, are on the “watch” list for threatened breeds. Since there are so few breeders listed with the ARBA (7), I wanted to take part and be #8. I chose Lilac’s because of their docile nature & because they can be used for both meat and fur (if a customer is looking for that). I hope to send my rabbits to good homes where they will be used as pets, however it is important to realize there are people out there that want them for other uses. As I didn’t know anything about this breed until recently, I’m hoping that I will be able to teach others as I go & increase awareness of this breed!
