If you have not already purchased your rabbits and gotten started, I suggest that you revisit our last article in this rabbit informational series; How to Become a Rabbit Breeder.
The New “Rabbit” Style Life + Learning Experiences
My life hasn’t been the same since I started raising rabbits, quite a few years ago. Before you start worrying about change let me point out that; my life has changed for the better! Starting my rabbit adventure was one of the smartest decisions that I have made in my entire life! I started breeding rabbits at age 10 when I was in the sixth grade at middle school and continue to enjoy taking part in the raising rabbits experience to this day.
I have definitely learned a lot from raising bunnies over the years… It would literally take an entire book to tell you about it and share the information that I have learned. That is why I recently dedicated several months of my very limited “free time”, to writing a comprehensive guide to raising rabbits titled; Raising Rabbits 101. You can grab a copy of my new 163 page “Rabbit Bible” for a discounted price at this link: http://raisingrabbits.us/
What a Rabbit Breeder Lifestyle Entitles
As a rabbit breeder you will need to dedicate time each and every day to feeding and watering your rabbits. You will also need to be prepared to take good care of your rabbits and keep them in good health. Rabbit raising requires a descent time dedication from your part, especially if you plan on raising rabbits for pets. Pet rabbits will require additional attention and love that most rabbits don’t get as much of.
Lastly you will be required to spend time managing your rabbit herd, keeping track of breeding records and cleaning up after your bunny rabbits.
Hopefully you will find the time that you spend taking care of your rabbits a joy rather than a “time consuming job”. If you don’t enjoy raising rabbits, maybe it is time to rethink your new hobby… You should enjoy this new hobby rather than resent it.
