I hope you and your rabbits had a wonderful Christmas. I know many of you including me will still be celebrating Christmas for the next few days. My family and I tend to keep Christmas going for at least another week after the holiday. In fact we usually continue to watch our favorite christmas movies for another week.
Well anyway we had a wonderful home cooked Texas meal. The meal consisted for Turkey, Green Bean Casserole, Pasta, Carrots and my personal favorite delicious rolls. And of course we had some wonderful desserts 🙂 . (At least I am not on any sort of diet)
After the meal we gathered in the living room to open gifts and hobnob. We watched a DVD of featuring events of past Christmases with the family. We watched everyone change from clip to clip. In some of the video clips I was still a baby! (Wow, what a different world it was before we reached our current high tech digital age.) The cameras used to be huge!
I personally put together a DVD with photography pictures from the decade that I made into a slideshow and gave as away as a gift. The slide show had all kinds of pictures on it from scenery, beautiful flower and church photos, people photography, animals and of course RABBITS! The slide show was a hit and helped to bring back good memories from the past.
After the meal many of us gathered around the table to play our traditional Monopoly game. The rest of the family went to play Wii Sports in the game room.
The Monopoly game gets more competitive every year as everyone becomes accustomed to each others strategies to winning the game. (Ha, it probably wouldn’t seem like a strategy game to most) Well when people like me are playing the game, things do naturally become competitive 🙂 LOL. We had a few disputes over the rules to the game. (I guess everyone was getting kind of fed up with me trying to buy up every single property on the entire board!) I came up with idea of basically trading money for money (long story), however I purposely tried to give the other person the good deal so I could gain a competitive advantage. (thats when the rules of the game had to be questioned)- However nobody produced a rule book so I abandoned the idea temporarily.
Well to sum things up I ended up calling a draw between me and my brother (the remaining players) because quite frankly the game was becoming dull after a few hours. We both had expensive hotels and were basically just throwing back and forth money. I however was the richest player at the end of the game! I had well over 3,000 in cash! The bank was basically out of money due to the fact that I had soo much. My arm became sore from passing so much money across the table. (back and forth it exchanged hands)
Maybe I could write a Monopoly Strategy Guide Someday? Ok, probably just another one of my crazy ideas. (I guess this is what happens when I spend a entire day away from the rabbits)
