Every Christmas there usually are cool websites that hop up (pop up, still thinking rabbits 🙂 ) which allow you to do things such as put yourself in a cute dancing elf costume. At least I know that was very popular last Christmas. In fact I made a little hilarious video of several politicians such as George Bush, Obama, Hillary Clinton and someone else (can’t recall the name at this instant) dancing in cute elf costumes. I would show you the video however the site closed down shortly after Christmas.
Well anyway I thought I would list five cool christmas resources which have nothing to do with rabbits, bunnies, lapins (french) or what ever you call them.
1. http://www.northpole.com/ – A site that shows you what santa and his elves have been up to. Site provides resources for kids and parents.
2. http://www.elfyourself.com/ – My personal Christmas favorite, create your very own dancing elf using a drag and drop interface. Do I need to say anything else?
3. http://www.thekidzpage.com/freeonlinetoys/dressup/santadressupgame.html – A cool Christmas interface website that allows you to dress Santa up in different combinations. The site should be called Build a Santa.
4. http://www.highlightskids.com/Magazine/Dec05/h1magazineFlashObjects/h11205DecemberArtist.asp – The build your own Ginger Bread House game on www.highlightskids.com
5. http://www.apples4theteacher.com/holidays/christmas/decorate-a-tree/ – Decorate your own Christmas tree online
